Topic: any Problem moving from H1b to EAD

I received my EAD in Oct 2007, I notified my HR and HR made a copy of it and didn't ask me to fill in any form. Do I have to inquire my HR about it?

Topic: Fingerprint has not been cleared

I just called TSC and the lady told me that my name check has been cleared on 10/15/07 however, my fingerprint has not been cleared yet. That lady also told me that I should hear back from them within 60 days. Does anybody has the same experience?

Topic: Just spoke with Texas IO

I just spoke to Laurie, she is not that nice. I asked her the status of my name check after she verified my SSN and name. She told me that my name check has been cleared but not the fingerprint. She told me that my fingerprint is not clear and I will get another appt. to redo my fingerprint again. Does anybody has the same experience? I don't have any other appt schedule notice. What should I do? Also, she told me that my receipt date is Sept. 07 and I explained to her that the receipt date should be June 29, 2007 and she said "NO." Lastly, I asked for her badge # and name. She told me her name and refuse to give me her badge #. She even told me, "That's all you need."

Topic: No physical receipt notices yet.

I just asked my attorney the same question. I applied for I-485 & I-765 at the same time and just got the receipt # from the back of my check last Friday (haven't received the actual receipt yet). My attorney said you can enter back to US legally by using valid H-1B, HOWEVER, if you have already applied I-485, it is better to use the AP to enter back to US since the immigration officer might revoke your I-485 application which mean you have to submit your I-485 AGAIN!!!

Just checked my online banking. Check has been cashed!!! Got the receipt #s for I-485 & I-765 on the back of my check. Can anybody tell me how I can find out my FP date? Will I get a separate receipt for my FP date? Thanks!
