Hi Amit,
DO not wait for three months period for your case .Because ,they will take one month for issuing the EC (Visa).Hence,If they give on Aug 16 , you won't be able to travel to Uk as ur HSMp letter will expire.Hence ,my best suggestion is mention this in the covering letter and apply by June 10 to 15 .

When and where did you apply for EC .Have you got Visa stamp on ur passport.
i.e.Just to know whether maintenance rules apply for a person with job offer or not

Topic: tier 1 - global rollout
I am from South Africa and wanted to apply under hsmp but after reading the very very scary situations about the delay in hsmp, i have decided not to apply for hsmp and wait for the gloabl rollout of tier1 as it is not yet open to south africa.
the problem is i will only qualify for the required points until end August 2008 (my birthday is in aug and i will lose points)....i know they say that tier1 will open worldwide ""sometime in summer 2008"". can someone tell me when the summer starts and ends in UK?? has anyone come accross any article which gives any more information about the global rollout of tier1???
please let me know???

Since your birthday falls in Aug , ensure from today onwards you have 3000 pounds for 3 months to get your Tier-1 . |
