Topic: The best Friday ever!!!! Magic email came

just one hour ago. After calling my immediate family, trackitt came next in the list. My fellow friends, I am soooo happy, and hang in there if you don't have it yet. It does actually come.

Party time :)

Topic: Just called TSC - POJ method

1800 - 3755283
Choose options in this order 1 2 2 6 1
Enter receipt number followed by #
Choose options in this order 1 3 4

This should do it, and you will hear "You have an estimated wait time of X minutes"

To all my other replies, I am leaving on vacation for a week, and will look at renewing week after next. What a deal. Thanks and good luck to all!

Topic: Just called TSC - POJ method

OK, the IO was nice, but didn't give me too much information, just hints.

My excuse to call was to double check regarding EAD renewal to not waste my time and money, given that I am eligible for approval.

She said "Wait, don't file yet; wait at least another month because you are close to approval". Then, I asked, if she had more information about my case and she responded "I am telling you to wait".

I guess this isn't clear clear, but it is a cryptic wait to relay information.

Topic: Nostalgia

Nostalgia? No way! I can't wait to not have to think about this ever again. Many times, it consumes my brain, energy, and time. Sorry, I respect your thoughts, but I don't share them. Hopefully we will all be out of this journey soon.

I hope! It's been so long of a wait that I cannot even imagine the feeling. Let's see what happens today.

Topic: Renew or not renew H1B

OK, I filed back in June, my H expires on the 31st of this month. My PD is current, case has been pending for more than 180 days. The attorney tells me to wait for the next visa bulletin to see if the dates regress again (hope not!), and then the decision to rush and file before the 31st will be made. I honestly would like to not have to renew the H1. I have the EAD, but the attorney (as many of you have also said), says it is nice to have a valid H1B, just in case. I know the miracle could happen any minute, but since I am cutting it so close, I would like some opinions. Thanks!

Topic: MAXIMUM PREDICTED RETROGRESS VB APRIL 08??

I agree. Why so much negativity? Sometimes you are way good at trying to take the excitement away from people.
I don't think it will retrogress anymore. Perhaps it won't move forward for a while. I don't know. Does it matter, really? Let's see what it is like today, and move on. I think we have way too much information available, and this sometimes ends up being very counter productive.
