Topic: Old I-94 and GC.

My wife had her old I-94 in the passport and forgot to take it out. In recent international travel, the airlines rep pull it out from her passport (we didnt notice that until we reached destination) while checking in for boarding pass. We have been back to US.
Will that I-94 they took away to send to USCIS have any effect on her GC?

Topic: Formalities after getting the Green Card

I dont think that SSN will do work with CRIS email. You might need Green Card.

Topic: First time Travel after Green Card

I am also looking for an answer to this since I am also travelling for the first time on GC. What I learnt is Passport+Green Card. I will carry birth certificate of my infant too since he is also travelling with us.

Topic: Do we need an unrestricted SSN to start work with another employer after GC

It doesn't hurt to get one. It is not mandatory that you have a new SSN card (w/ same old number) but in my case my HR person in office was admant and ask for the card (though he can not ask , according to the law since Green Card would be sufficient). I did not want to discuss with him. I went to SSN office after 2 months of GC. By this time SSN office could access data online. I gave my passport and Green Card. They updated info on their database and told I will get new card in 2 weeks. I got it in 4 days.

Topic: Do I need to include a summary of old visas in 485 application

you need to send everything to prove that you maintained your status since your first entry into the country. This will help you.

Topic: First travel after GC-Things to remember

Traveling back to home country first time after 3 months of receiving GC. What are the things to keep in mind? Your input is appreciated. Should I turn in I-94?

Topic: Birth Certificate

You can include Affidavit of Birth signed by your parents or person who know your birth in addition to Birth Certificate. This will help you to clear your doubt.

Topic: Replacement of SSN

This question is for people who already got their GC and replaced the SSN Card with a pesky legend with a new card without legend. How long it takes and what are the documents required?
