Topic: no fp notice yet long time waiting

sorry, but I do not live near newark/nj area. If I were you I would try and call USCIS 1-800 number and enquire about this question.

Topic: FYI - Processing Dates are available!!!

my understanding was at least one of the cases dated apr-06-2007 for I-140 has been processed by NSC. It most definitely does not mean all cases prior to apr-06-2007 have been processed.

Topic: Emergency travel to India?

You may want to take a INFOPASS appointment and take with you all applicable documents I-485 receipt, I-131 receipt & copy of the e-mail of the current status & lastly the supporting documentation/evidence for emergency travel and you may be given an approved I-131 for your emergency travel.

Topic: Received only one copy

In my opinion, the no# AP documents do no equate to the no# of trips one may take. The AP document is usually returned back to the holder and may be reused. Can someone who made multiple trips using same AP document confirm this?

Topic: I 485 approval for my spouse

illusion, you may want to contact USCIS 1-800 number and after you enter your I-485 case no# choose the options that say about "companion cases" assuming you & your spouse applied at the same time and the other application is a "derivative" application. Once you get to this step you may be asked to provide your spouses I-485 case no#, please ensure you have all relavent information handy with you (A#s for you & spouse, spouse available on phone to be able to speak and confirm that spouse is the correct applicant for the other case, etc). Topic: Please guide about AP and 485 !

From what I remember, they both would have the same reference no# only the validity dates may be different; one attached on passport would have a prior date and the one with new h1b approval notice would have a recent/future date.

Topic: Can GC holder work two jobs?

I believe the 180 days for GC holders (is like a guideline) that may be reviewed at the time of naturalization application/process. Please refer to the "Citizenship" section of the following link:
