Topic: EAD Valid Only For One Year
I received my renewal EAD only valid for 1 year. I am not current yet as per visa bulletin. I don't understand how this validity works. But, I thought that if there is no available visa number for me, I will be given a 2 year valid EAD.
Appreciate your comments. |
Topic: Clearly visible - 90% AC21 facing denial issues
To the OP: researched or analyzed, it's your assumption of denial cases. Nobody is going to convince you that AC21 is good. It all boils down to ur risk. You said it yourself. You don'T want MTR stress. Simple answer to that? Don't change jobs, then. Stay where u are.
About that "analyzed" number, did u go through every single thread of ac21 cases here on trackitt? Actually, u should change ur number to 99% because there will only be 1% of ac21 approvals that u will see here. Check ur analysis. |
Topic: Clearly visible - 90% AC21 facing denial issues
90% Of AC21 cases are facing denial issues? Where did you get that number?
Think of multinational companies with lots of money to burn. It may not be an issue of "ability to pay" for them. So, I can safely assume that they will not revoke any I-140s. Maybe there are other reasons, I dunno.
Please check your "researched" number. |
Topic: EAD in record time!!!
Receipt notice November 7,2008. Checked online and it said Card Production Ordered November 17, 2008. In 10 days??? It's a renewal, though... So maybe that makes a difference... =) |
Topic: Approved I140 become pending
Why was it transferred? |
Topic: H1B transfer after EAD use
How does this work? If I used EAD now, and I have H1B expiring in 2010, that will cancel my H1B right? So, say I've used EAD for 2 years and assuming it canceled H1B, and something went wrong with my AOS, can I still transfer H1B? Or, will it be a new application for H1B (From scratch?) |
Topic: G-28 Question please...
Thanks Baires!!! I am thinking of using AC21 too. But, I was actually banking on one lawyer (private firm paid by my company to finish our AOS cases) to deal with just that, so, just in case my company wants to revoke my I-140, they would have to pay private lawyer to send in the letter (you know how lawyers get paid for every single thing they do?). And I am hoping that my company will not want to pay anything extra for someone who's not anymore with them. |
Topic: Why wud Homeland Security ask employer to cancel approved I-140s
I thought CUSTOMS only dealt with goods (import/export)? Does Homeland Security have a Customs department? Why would Customs (dealing with goods) be interested in auditing immigration paperwork?
Help me understand please... |
Topic: how to know whether i-140 has been revoked?
Hey namesake... I'm not sure how they go about revoking, but I've read that they only send a letter to revoke the I-140 and that's it, you're I-140 is revoked. However, say for example, your company pays a lawyer to do all their paperwork, I think every single request to do something the lawyer will charge fees. I don't think anybody would want to pay any extra fees... But, of course, I could be wrong... |
