Topic: Please can anybody help, regarding PIO(person of Indian origin) card

I was in a similar situation with Washington DC Embassy for OCI couple of years back for my daughter. They will work at their own sweet pace and are hardly bothered. Also my friend had also a bad expereince with them for some other service. The service is really bad ,luckily for us we stay in Arlington VA ,i had to make couple of trips to emabssy before i got the passport.

Topic: Need Help for my FP please respond

I think you need to relax. Check with FBI after a month or two. FP for EAD n AP are not sent for FBI checks. FP for 485 where they take all you 10 finger print they are sent for FBI checks.

Topic: I-485 and Birth Affidavit from abroad

Well I did not get an RFE but I had a BC issued from the Municiplaity in which only my fathers name ,DOB and registration date was mentioned. Since as per some customs the child is named by the aunt in a naming ceremony in certian parts of India , my name was not even decided at my birth hence name was not mentioned. I asked my parents (mother as well as father) to make an affidavit/sworn statement in regards with name not being mentioned on a Stamp Paper worth RS 100. I think they used a public notoary and notarised it. Along with that i also submitted my SSC passing certificate which mentioned my DOB. In my opinion if you birth is registered within an acceptable time you can overcome this RFE.

Topic: Do you always see LUD before 485 approval?

I atleast know of a few cases where there were no soft LUDS but hard LUD of approval.
But there are known cases of soft LUDS before approval.

Topic: FP notice received, need suggestion..

Carry your FP notices, passport or DL .
Not allowed is cell phone ,pagers or any hand bags of any sort.
You can take your baby along ( i took my daughter ,she was almost two at that time) ,but since your baby is just 25 days old better to avoid crowded areas ,ask Pedia for advice.

Topic: Green card returned to USCIS as undeliverable by post office

This is the way USPS works i guess, we had a similar issue for the FP notice for my wife EAD( we had applied online /efile)
I and wife had applied for for EAD last Dec , i got my FP for EAD but my wifes FP notice was retunred undeliverable.I wrote back to USCIS that it was a mistake by USPS to return the notice as clearly indicated by the recipt notice of EAD as well as the FP notice of 485 that we recieved at the same address. After sending the reply , i check in three days time the online status was change to card production order and my wife got the EAD in a couple of days time.
