Topic: visitor visa

according to the all knowing IO, our marriage is not real. I know this is going to cause us problems with just about any type of visa from here on in, but we are going to try everything. I actually live in Alberta so we have been looking at PNP. It is just really hard for my husband to get a job or an offer without actually being here. said thing is, it was actually my idea for us to live in Canada. AHHH hine sight is 20-20 right...

we have tried the family sponsorship route and have been refused. I know it is a very very long shot, but we are trying all avenues now. We are looking at all the different types of visas and trying to decided which one would be the next one to try.

Topic: Anyone doing spousal sponsorship for the second time?

neither posting your question nor visiting your husband will affect his sponsorship. Actually, yor visiting him may even help his case. It shows yours is a loving and caring relationship. If your marriage was a fraud, you would not be spending the money to gove visit him would you?
Good luck

Topic: Anyone doing spousal sponsorship for the second time?

TRam1984,
I feel so sad and upset for you and your family. I am not going thru this for a second time, only my 1st, but we are going thru Damascus too. I suggest that you go to another forum called immigartion.ca and post your situation. For some reason, not many people offer answers/responses on trackitt. There are many many wonderful people on immigration.ca who have a lot of experience who maybe able to help you. If you go there, make sure you look for the thread called finally.....Damascus timelines. There are a few of us on there who are all playing the waiting game.
Good luck and my prayers will be with you.

Topic: really confused about interview

Ok If my husband gets called in for an outlander interview, will I - as the sponsor have an interview as well? . I know I can not go into the interview with him, but I have read about the sponsoring spouse being interviewed at the same time or via a phone call. I've heard different things and I was wondering about people's expirence with this.
Thanks!

Topic: June approvals 2008

Called CIC-M today to ask how to fix a mistake they made in my name. Since I had them on the phone, I asked about our case. She said yes I was approved and that my husband's paperwork was sent to Damascus on July 7th! YEAAAAAAAAA
