Topic: Driver's License Renewal based on EAD

I am currently working on EAD, and waiting for status adjustment (paroled). I had my driver's license renewed last year until the AP expiration date (Jan 2009) , and not EAD expiration date (Oct 2008).

The issue is that I renewd my EAD recently, but I still have the same AP (expiring soon). I don't know if I'm suppose to cross again the border to have my AP extended for another year.

I have to ask DMV about their rules, but I thought I should ask this here maybe somebody was in the same situation.

Thanks.

Topic: Different A# on EAD Card and I-485 Receipt

I called USIS to let them know I have different A# on I-485 and all other applications. They told me it's not a problem, as they will reconcile the 2 numbers when they get to I-485 processing.
My lawyer sent a letter anyway to inform them about this, hope it will help ...

There are a lot of threads on the same subject, do a search to find other responses ...

Topic: Is my Status valid?

Your status is "parolee". You are not out of status. I guess your I-140 is approved, why don't you apply for EAD renewal?

Topic: MTR dates, information & results

Your lawyer's statement is not correct. You are entitled to the documentation of your case. I think you should try talking to your department head, or the person who offered you the job. They should support you in getting the documents!

Yes, I got a new SRC receipt number, a week after filing the MTR.

Does anybody with I140 denied due to missing documents has an update on the MTR?
