Does "Approval notice sent" means they actually mailed EAD card or they mailed the papre receipt (just like other with SRC/LIN# etc...)

App Sent to NSC on July 20th'...
Rcvd at NSC on July 23rd'...
Got Reciept # from TSC on Oct 27th'...(No Paper Copy of receipt yet...!!!)
Usually how much time it takes to receive actually paper receipt once case has been data entered.
No Update on EAD approval OR card.
Is thier any trand for EAD approval.
Usually how much time it takes to get EAD appproval/card after getting receipt#.

Use following options once connected, 1226221
There will be level1 customer support will ask few questions reg. what application you send, when, is it more than 90 days of not, are you in military etc..etc..
Once they confirm that your app is > 90 days and you dont have receipt# they will forward you to another level2 support. (If not still say it is >90 days or give them app sent date > 90 days, they cant verify the correctness)
He/She will ask almost same question and then they will verify in USCIS db whether your package has been data entered or not.
If it is they will give you receipt# else they will ask you to wait few more days..

Do they process and assign Receipt# or sent back app package Flat out.
Also what happens for dependent filer in this situation? Do they process their application(s) and assign receipt# or their app package will also sent back.. |

I got my wife's receipt# [From the back of the checks] since i sent my personal check(s) for her application.
Still dont have my receipt# as my employer paid for that.
Called USCIS, dont have any update available in their db for me.,
will post if i have any update later.
But still atleast something +ve after a long wait... |

Well,, i called in for my satisfaction and it was as i expected,..
Nothing available in system yet,,,
The rep. told me to wait for atleast 40 days !!! and same BS about how they are trying to clear this backlog & we understand this is causing lot of anxiety for the ppl still waiting for receipts blah blah blah... |
