not sure how you can "expect" interview. Either you are already scheduled for an interview or you are just speculating too much.

I was approved with no interview and my namecheck was pending as of when I 485 was approved.

got the GC couple of months back. As of when I received the GC, my NC was still pending and i have not received any communication ever since adjudication, indicating that NC has cleared or not. I probably gained some positive attention since I wrote to First lady, wrote to local congressman, and wrote to USCIS Ombudsman... and called USCIS hotline almost every other day. Almost all of the above entities actively worked on my case and all responded to me in a timely fashion(yeah... i know it sounds very unrealistic), resulting in the adjudication.

I am no hotshot and had no other influential backups besides my own initiatives. And initiatives meaning: letters, both formal and informal.

I am not subscribing to this thread.

if anything you can demand for clarification from FBI under Freedom of Information Act. You will be chasing your own tail if you are trying to locate the malicious person in any other way.

SR and Pal, I just accidentally hit upon trackitt link after a long long time and started going through some of the posts. Its interesting to me since the issues seem to be very same, and funnier than that, the fights seem to be .... exactly same, except that the parties are different.

I am looking beyond your purpose assuming that you have found the right form to submit. Looking at the form you mentioned, and looking at #15, it has to be filled by "petitioner", which is, in most of our cases, the employer.

Ting, I submitted that form, got very good response and did not have it signed by anyone else than myself. It was not a long time back when i did this, but it does look like the form has changed and yes for #15, someone from your employer should sign.

your lawyer should know best. Yours is not a situation where you can make any descision using advice from this forum.

I had some kind of similar experience. My lawyer for my previous company discussed and mutually agreed to cancel one 140 application before the lawyer of current employer went ahead with another 140. In my case such discussions were possible since lawyers of both companies were required to discuss, as one company bought the other and it all happened for me during transition.

talk to a lawyer. there can be pundits of many level here, but for your kind of situation, I wouldn't take a single step before consulting with a lawyer.

i agree with enduring. safe than sorry. Sorry too many mishaps on trackitt than I can count as ppl gambled.

yes, thats what I meant. There has been multiple examples on trackitt of gross error and negligence on the side of USCIS officials resulting in denial and/or NOID issued on I485 because USCIS officials did not even notice that the applicant and/or the attorney of the applicant has submitted AC21 documentation in due time. I had been considering AC21 as an option for me and then backed out after reading those threads. Please search on trackitt.

Be careful about using AC21. Read through the threads on this website about the mess people got into after invoking AC21.
