Topic: Changing Job, while on Work Permit

Hi Jay, I am on WP here in canada , I am in IT so i didn't have to go thru LMO / HRSDC thing.

So my question is: I want to change my job and i have found one employer who is willing to give me the job.

Now, If i apply for new work permit ( LMO / HRSDC Exempt ) and In case if new one got rejected will i have to leave canada ?

What will be status in canada ? My Passport has a stamp of CANADIAN visa until Nov 2009.

Thanks

Topic: Sending IELTS test results

@deecee66212 , Thanks for info, i just contacted IELTS center and they said they will send my results free of cost since they provide 1 month time frame to every candidate.

Now, i will definitely ask them to send my results. But along with that should i just sent an email to notify buffalo ppl about the fact that my IELTS result will be with them sooner.

Or should i just stay quite .

Topic: Sending IELTS test results

Hi, i just got my AOR letter and now i want to submit my IELTS test report. The buffalo, CHC hasn't asked any thing but i want to submit on my own. The test center will send it for free so i was wondering should i sent just a letter to Buffalo that my test report will be with them sooner. Or a simple email with this message will work fine ?

OR do i need to send a cover letter along with photocopy of test report

OR i don't need to send any letter or email to them, just instruct test center to forward the results.

Waiting for your quick response

Topic: Anyone on work permit who travelled out of canada and returned back ?

Hi, I hold a work permit until Nov 2009 - I landed in canada back in march 2008 and at the toronto airport , an officer after seeing my passport issued me a WORK PERMIT paper , on that paper , its written in bold "Doesn't Allow Re-Entry" -

But On my passport , the VISA STAMP that CIC put shows entry as "multiple"

Can you please tell me if i leave canada for a month and then come back , what will happen ?

Is this normal procedure that work permit is printed every time you come back to canada ? does any one has this kind of experience to leave canada , on vacations, while on work permit and return to job ?

hope to hear a quick response

Thanks

Topic: Didn't receive ackowledgment letter yet!

Hi, I heard that ppl who have applied after 27th Feb 2008 are all waiting , but few days back i did some search and have found that 2-3 guys got AOR even they applied after 27th Feb and a couple more had thier money orders encashed.

Can you plz give a brief profile of yours, one thing common in those applications was all of them were in USA or canadian graduates and been here for last 2-3 years.
