Hi all,

This is out of my experience and wanted to share with all of you. Who ever is attending US interview especially at Chennai make sure that you have all these docs available from your employer side apart from your docs:

1. A copy of the petition with all supporting documents as filed to USCIS (I-797, I-129, I-129 supporting docs, LCA and Education evaluation copy)
2. A copy of the employment contract or letter of agreement (Offer letter)
3. Petitioners Income Tax returns for the last two tax years and financial statements
3. A notarized list of all the petitioners’ employees. The list should show all employees’ names, their individual salaries and immigration status
4. State unemployment wage reports for all states
5. W2 forms of all employees
6. A detailed and specific description of the internal project or client letter to which you will be assigned. Include a complete technical description of the project, timeline, number of employees assigned, work site location...etc

Thanks

Hi Senthil,

I have attended US interview at Chennai yesterday, I got 221g as most of the people get. I have all the docs except 2008 quarterly IT returns of my employer. US interviewer wanted to see those docs. So result is 221g. I have spoken to my employer. Fortunately all these docs are readily available. They are going to send them in couple of days.

Thanks
Jagan

Hi,

Can anyone please let me know how to create an appointment for dependents to attend US interview along with main applicant? Do we need to create a separate application for them?. Suppose if dependent can not speak english, how to choose other language?

Thanks

Hi jignesh,

Don't worry. You will get your visa. Carry all the docs to the interview. The way of sending your docs will be mentioned in the back side of the 221(g) form. You can see the list of documents to be submitted there. There are two ways, attend the interview with out appointment and submit the documents via drop box. They will mark one of them. Check your 221 document which one is marked.

You have to attend the interview as a fresh interview. Only difference is you don't need to pay application fee in HDFC and take an appointment.

Thanks
Jagan
