and whats PPP - is that when one IO pickes up all applications and processes them together?

Exactly. PPP stands for Pilot Plus Program. This pilot known to be tested in Texas Service Center only.

I dont think this is happening anymore. Those who filed in Jan- May were the lucky ones.

See the post by akmm above. There are still some PPP cases. My impression is that there used to be much more of those in the first half of 2008

Yep seems like you're right.

Thanks!

Have anyone seen any PPP approvals recently? E.g. smth like when you file change of address or AP extension all of your cases get approved (or at least soft-LUDed) within 1-2 days. There have been dozens of such cases in April-June. But I haven't been able to find such a case in October.

Topic: IF Obama wins?

Well now the only hope is that I get current before that happens (polls suggest that Americans will choose wrong yet again)

Yeah you are right, the old man has lost the game, let's face it.

Now obviously it won't happen on January 22nd. I would say we've got some 6 months to get our GCs.

If Obama wins...

... then we're screwed :(
Just imagine another 12 millions petitions flowing into the USCIS mailrooms.

Topic: TSC EAD Renewal - Let us track here!!

Do I need to pay $340 Dollar for the renewal ?? My lot was Nov 2007 (Started with $ 1010 for I140, I485, AP, EAD in one package). I have heard that if anyone (after Aug 2007) file their application by general mail, they can get the waiver.

- IF THIS IS A RENEWAL YES YOU HAVE TO PAY

I don't think he has to pay since he paid the new price ($930+$80) for i-485. I assume that was for AOS/EAD/AP not including i140.

Find an employer willing to sponsor you and have them conduct labor market test and submit so called Labor Certification (LC) on your behalf.

can i apply on EAD while i'm entering USA with visitor Visa (B2)
if not , wt are the steps to do that makes me stay in the USA legally

Technically you can do that. I assume you have valid grounds such as pending AOS application.

You cannot just enter on B2 and apply for EAD just because you want to.

Topic: Card production ordered

That means he received FP appointment on 09/02 for 09/16 for himself and 09/17 for his spouse. This is for AP. However, he filed EAD paper based, which doesn't require FP.

Correct me, if I am wrong.

Correct. Well the reason I posted it here is because the appointment notice contains two case #s: for i485 and i765. No idea why did they include i765 since it was paper based filing.
