Topic: Petition transferred to new office
Well, checked for updates. My case has been sent to Atlanta for the interview process. I wanna yell "Yeah!" but don't know if it's appropriate. I read more and more posts that say my hubby won't be able to come with the approval of the I-130. Are we going about this the wrong way???? I really want to get him here as fast as possible, but especially by my birthday in February. Is that not going to happen? Can someone help????? |
Topic: Petition transferred to new office
I just got a notice in the mail yesterday that our case has been transferred from Vermont to California. Did they change something? Back in August, I requested a transfer because Vermont was sooooo slow and was told that wasn't possible. So I requested it be expedited due to financial hardship and still haven't heard anything back from that, although I received a confirmation over the phone that a decision would be made within 2 weeks. The transfer letter was a real surprise! What's next to be expected? From what I'm reading Cal is taking a month to process the transfers???? Wow. How long should I expect before my husband is able to be with me? |
