Topic: EC from Pakistan - HSMP transitional arrangements

@tractable... for HSMP you needed a minimum of 75 points to qualify, for Tier 1 you need 95 points minimum.... They have added 10 points for English and 10 for maintenance funds..... If you are a HSMP transitional applicant, you already get 10 points for the English requirement, however, for maintenance funds you have to show min GBP 2800 for 3 months to gain the 10 points. If you score 100 points then you are ok...

If you are a fresh Tier 1 applicant, you would need to do IELTS for English requirement and score 6.5 band minimum. I am not sure if they will accept the letter from university if the university was not in a majority english speaking country i.e., UK, USA, Australia, NZ or South Africa.... Will have to check and reconfirm this.... Regards.... Nadeem

Dear Abdik,

If your payslips are for Dec 2007 to Nov 2008 then your earning period that you will claim will be Dec 2007 to Nov 2008 and you can show your bank account with the salary deposits coming in from Jan 2008 (of Dec 2007) to Dec 2008 (for Nov 2008)... Your earning period that you claim should correspond with your payslips....

Hi JD.... By saying the applications are getting lost I meant in literal terms... offcourse they can't get lost..... however since no one is getting replies since long, it is very strange..... Once I had a question and I wrote to BHC Islamabad. In their reply they sent me a list of FAQs..... I again sent them the same question and asked them to reply precisely without sending me FAQs on which they finally did.... You may try the same with BHC AD. Regards... Nadeem

@Aamir... As per the guidance notes on VAF10, it says as follows:
7.15 What is the main applicant’s Certificate of Sponsorship
number?
This is the number allocated to him/her by his/her employer/
prospective employer. He/she is required to enter the number on
their entry clearance application form and would not/will not have
been issued entry clearance without doing so.

However there are no further details as if this is for Tier 1 or for tier 2-5... Logically speaking this should be for tier 1, however, if anyone can check it out from their consultants, it would be better,,,,

When I filled out my forms, this field was not there.... Regards... Nadeem

Topic: Share the experience who land up in Jan

Got here on 1st of Jan.... Man it is cold here..... for accommodation, I would recommend that you crash into friends/relatives place for a couple of days and then look for a place to stay... you should see the place where you would be renting up as many places are doggy and very difficult to live in decently.... as far as jobs are concerned, I am still looking for one... Get an oyster card with a weekly/monthly pass for zones 1-4 as these are where you would mostly be travelling in London.. Nadeem

@easyboy.... my dear friend.. your questions are generally very basic... not to discourage you but most of them require just some common sense.... why do you want to make copies of blank pages..... you are required to make copies of the first 2 pages and then anyother page that has any entry in it, be it visa, stamping or any other observation.... once again, I am not discouraging you at all... do keep asking your questions if you are not sure of anything.... Regards... Nadeem
