EB-2 I-140 originally approved with PD 9/15/06 on 4/17/08.
Spoke with nice IO from TSC on 8/5/08, told her to recapture older PD of 7/8/2002 from approved EB-3 I-140. Saw Hard LUD on 8/6/08 stating approval notice mailed 8/6/08, then soft LUD on 8/7/08. |

Topic: Nothing after CRIS e-mail with approval
OneDay,
Please update your I-140, I-485 profile so it benefits everyone else.
Sincerely,
netnerd
Hello everybody,
I happily got approved for both my I-140 and 485 last week 09/11 and got the magic e-mail saying "Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident".
However, nothing has happened since then...and when I say nothing, I mean NOTHING at all: no CPO message, no soft or hard LUDs, nothing on the mail, NA-DA.
It might be important to mention that mine was a transferred case TSC>CSC>TSC and I have heard others say that sometimes there are issues with biometrics, etc.
Anybody in a similar situation? Any thoughts? Gurus, PLEASE ADVISE!
I thought last week when I got the approval e-mail that the fight was over (and won ;-), but now I feel that the GC saga continues...;-(

Topic: Got a call from USCIS this morning
whattheheck, 202 is UCSIC DC office. It is neither NSC or TSC. Did you file request with CIS ombudsman or with senator/congressman?
The phone call may have been in response to that.
whattheheck,
If you don't mind can you please share the phone # that you got the call from?
Sincerely,
netnerd

It just showed first 3 digit starting 202.

I got a call just now from USCIS officer asking for some information. I gave that information and she told me she is reviewing my case and i should hear something soon or i should expect a call again.
What a surprise. I think something is happening. I am hoping for the best.
What do you guys think? Should i expect my approval soon?

Topic: Linking the EB dates
trueworld,
This is complete and utter bullshit. Please refrain from posting false info regarding a genuine organization that works towards bringing forth & resolving huge immigration problems faced by everyone. If not, please provide your contact information so IV core members can contact you. I am not an IV core member, I am just a member.
Sincerely,
netnerd.
Startling News about Immigration Voice Use of Funds
I met a former Immigration Voice Core member and he told me some startling facts about immigration voice ( An organization which says that they stand for legal immigration). He told me that most of the IV core members who really wanted to work on this issue have left the organization bacause of the corruption in the organization. and current people running the organization are taking the money out from the Immigration Voice in the name of the companies of their frioends and relatives. They have made it as an extra source of income for themselves.
The main aim of the organization now is to make money by posting scary posts which many times is not posted by real members but it is the same people who run the organization have created multiple IDs.

Topic: Linking the EB dates
I saw the LUD on my I-485.
pdrecapturing, I dont know what she checked, but she told me to wait for while and said she would have to log into a diff system for the I-140's and diff system for the I-485, but she said that my A# are also consolidated( since I have 2 diff a#, one on both the I140's and a new one on the 485, she said the one on 485 is the one to be used) and said that l-485 application has been updated to have the EB2 catg and the older PD of 04/08/2004. Who knows if this is correct or wrong or where she is looking. Unless I get the approval nothing else matters. So hope is still alive.
But I spoke to my attorneys today and they have not received any response to the 5th of aug letter that they sent.
Thanks
