hi..wanted to know when you get your EC how long can can you make your first entry....what i mean is that i heard that from the day your EC was stamped you need to enter UK within three months...i havent really come across any of this on the site so am confused..would someone be able to throw some light so that no of us really make the mistake of entering after 3-4 months and realise the visa is not valid.....

hey guys..i applied for EC from VFS bang on 22 nd august.....stil no update...evryone else seems to have got for the same.....i have shown an FD for 2800GBP...u think dat wld have been a problem for being an FD....pls advise....begnn to get worried...;(

i 2 had applied for EC on 22august with an HSMP approval letter..still no update..wrote to them...they responded immdtly that i will hear the desicion in 3rd week of Oct.....
Wot are the chances of gettin EC rejected if u have an approval letter....if its sure shot atleast i give a notice to my current employer..pls share ur thghts if u cld...

Any clue which dates have come through??
...i am tired of waiting...;(Check evryday at the site but no development.

Hi...Just need an idea as to how much time does it take for EC...I submitted application to VFS on 22 August..Have no clue about the time it takes to process this...
Really need to know to plan out notice periods for job/house.

my EC is in progress(was given a week back)..now i have to travel offshore in next two week for an important deal in my present job.....could you pls advise what can i do..can i ask the embassy to return just my passport for travel or will this hamper my progress and screening for EC..
.am in a fix..

Have been reading posts on the previous walls but still unclear on a few points.Need some info from anyone:
Am going thru a consultant and need to apply for my EC(my hsmp approval is already come)
-Do i need to show when am i travelling and an accomodation letter??like show booking...as my consultant says its not necessary...
-Do i need to take bank staements like for 7 days before my EC submission to office?
Pls help as I am confused here..thanks and cheers!
