I need to get the H1 stamping done in Switzerland. I'm an Indian national.
Is there any one in this situation or done this before. Please let me know

I have a question if a person has H1 stamping done for a company X and he is now applying for a L1 from company Y.
Will USCIS revoke the H1 or wont allow L1?

I think yes thats what a residence permit is.
Basically you should not be on a business or tourist visa. |

I think those people were on a resident permit here and you are right they if you are resident then it should be ok for EC too. |

Thats what I was telling you its not clear what has to be done in this transition phase.
But I know of people who applied under HSMP from Switzerland and are Indian nationals.
They even got their EC done from Switzerland.
So I'm not sure what is correct process here and BIA doesnt seem to respond to these queries.

I'm also and Indian national working in Swiss. was thinking of applying for HSMP.
I think you can apply for HSMP from Switzerland. Its based on the country of work not on nationality.
I might also apply but not sure..
