Same situation. Fingerprinted Aug 3, 07. Havent recieved any notice for 2nd fingerprint yet. Have recieved 2nd EAD and AP. Also booked to be away for 3 weeks in January and I bet my 2nd finger printing appointment will be in that very time period.

Topic: Any EB3 India approvals?

Gosh seeing all these dates makes me think that my EB3 oct 2001 PD is not going to get done in this visa/fiscal whatever they call it year either.

Topic: EAD renewal receipt

My papers are filed at the NSC. I recieved my first EAD and AP from there. The new (2nd) EAD and AP I recieved are from TSC (Mesquite) I travelled on this new AP without noticing it. Had no problem. Just noticed it when I was fixing my file. Anybody else have this experience?

Topic: Does SR response creates soft LUD on your I485?

No,lud on our 485s after SR lodged in June. Received responses on all our SRs after 2 months. My son recieved it via email we recieved hard copies. Each response had different wording. Still no lud. Recd a hard copy letter dated sept 5 just yesterday from uscis saying that my son who will turn 21 shortly is protected under CPSA no lud on 485 then either. the last lud on it was after our finger printing in aug 2007.
So they're probably actually working on your case. Good luck.

Topic: EB3 India 2001 & 2002 pending 485 applications

I'm EB3 Oct 2001. Same employer. Yes my labor was stuck in the PBEC. Did get an RFE from PBEC for it which was cleared.

Filed concurrently in June 2007 for 140 and 485. Got 140 by August I think.

Have had no problems with EAD's and AP's. Received them promptly. In fact recieved our 2nd EAD's and AP's within a month of applying.

Had put in a SR in June 2008 after being current for 30 days. Recieved a hard copy reply from them saying that visas are unavailable in our category.

Now....this new bulletin is not encouraging at all. 1 step forward 10 steps back.....sigh.

Topic: need advice /help

We travelled to India in Dec 2007 and returned Jan 2008. Experienced no problem we left and entered at JFK on AP's as we didnt want to go through the whole visa process in Bombay as we have done for the past 4 years. We applied for AOS in June 2007. As of April 2008 we are on our 5th H1/H4 extension. This one is valid for 3 years since we have applied for AOS. Our son travelled on AP too but he has an H4 not F1. Hope this is helpful.

Topic: Updated Processing Time

I'm in same situation oct2001.
I opened a new discussion about it last night. No response so far. Are we the only ones?!?
http://www.trackitt.com/discussion-forums/i485-1/136868291/

I see what you mean. Nobody responded to your observation. It does seem that the majority of cases being approved are non concurrent. Must be something to do with first in first out.
