Topic: Green Card and Canadian PR

beenawhilenow

Thanks for your honest advice especially from your experience. Do you by any chance know, what i have to do to give up my Canadian PR. At this point, i believe would be just a formality as i have never maintained my status there. However, if there is a form or letter that i need to say that they should cancel my canadian PR would be nice. Let me know if you have any experience in this or suggestion

Topic: Canadian PR and GC

Guys,

I had Canadian PR 4 years ago and never stayed in Canada besides the time i went for stamp. After that I applied for GC and got recently approved. MY Canadian PR card is Valid until next year, however i have not met the Canadian residency requirement of staying 2 years out of 5 years. I am assuming my PR is already null at this time as i have not met the requiremnt. Now i have GC and i plan to reside here. What do you think from your experience i need to do? Do i need to cancel my Canadian PR now or let it just expire next year and forget about it? Please give me a detailed explanantion what i need top do. Thanks for all your help

Topic: Card Production and I-485 Approval

I am wondering if there is any link between card production and approval of I-485. ON thursday night i received 2 e-mail from CRIS:
1. Card production ordered e-mail
2. welcoming new resident.

So far i have not received any e-mail regarding the approval of my I-485. Is this customary? How long will it take to get that approval? Also, at this time would the I-485 approval have any meaning to my application.

Thanks for all your help

Topic: Card Ordered and Traveling soon

My GC was approved yesterday and i got the card production e-mail. My question is I am planning to travel in less than 2 weeks and i am not sure, by then i would have received these cards. Could anyone with the same situation shed some light. Can i get an info pass and talk to and IO and if that is an option, how long before do i need to reserve the time. I mean, how loing does it take to get an info pass? Thanks for all your help

Topic: Please I Need Clarification

I got the following e-mail today and i dont understand what "complete any ADIT processing" means. Is this standard or there is still some time before approval. Please shed some light if you have any experience.

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On June 12, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

Thanks for all your help.

Topic: How Long -Approval Notice

I just wanted to see how long it would take for me to get the original approval notice of my I-140 according to CRIS e-mail. My application was approved on third week of May but no word on the notice yet. Your thoughts will be appreciated

Topic: InCase of RFE

Kaisersose: Would you be able to expand and explain to me what your RFE was about:
EVL??? Location??? and photo ID????. I would greatly appreciate.
Does your location matter, if you are in a particular state and you have an ID from another? Do you know of this?

Thanks

Topic: InCase of RFE

can someone Let me know the following from your experience: IF there is an RFE

1. How long does USCIS allow us to reply any type of RFE? How many days from the time of issuance

2. If out of the country on vacation, can RFE be pushed forward until I am back in the country? Will this pause any problems with AOS?
