Mine is the exact case as yours. My wife is on EAD while I am still on H1. My question is, if she continues to work on EAD, and me on H1, then what needs to be told to the Interviewing officer about her status and work, that she on EAD and not on H4? There is no intimation provided to USCIS that she has started working on EAD as we havent travelled abroad or changed status by any means, my knowledge says, I have not intimated anyone for the status change. So we would say the is working on EAD for some employer, as this is what the case is, right?

Topic: Wrong priority date on AOS interview letter

My Interview date has the priority date same as the 485 notice date. Is this normal and nothing needs to be done from my end?

Topic: AOS Interview - Recent Marriage

What is the time frame of a recent marriage? I have been married for 18 months now, and the 485 was filed in the August rush, last year. So Marriage Mar 07, and 485 filed August 07. Right now it is 18 months while at the time of filing it was 5 months. Is this a cause for AOS interview? If so, how can I be prepared and what all documents would support this.

Topic: Wife on EAD/H4 working, renewed EAD, AP expired, wants to travel abroad

What about my H1B. Will that be void too if GC is approved while I am abroad? She has not entered US on AP as of now, so no change in status is there, she is still on H4 on records as per my knowledge as company has not informed USCIS of the change in status. It is deemed to have changed. Once she goes out on H4 and submits her I-94, can she not come back on H4 as it is still valid and not out of state?

Topic: Wife on EAD/H4 working, renewed EAD, AP expired, wants to travel abroad

Wife was on H4 and has EAD due to which she could start to work(Permanent job on EAD). EAD is renewed and AP was not. Now to travel abroad, what are the options. Can she travel abroad and come back on H4, as applying for AP renewal will not come in time?
