Many people have been complaining on IV about trackitt deleting their postings. I posted a very practical and realistic message on immigrationvoice discussion forum. I didn't say anything against IV. In fact, I was coming up with practical ways for different web sites to cooperate. And IV administrator immediately deleted the postings. They are dictators and manipulative. They spam all over the web trying to promote their agenda. And when anyone writes anything that does not suit them (no matter how true), they delete it.
Therefore, I have quit IV for good. Good luck to their evil admins. They are dictators! In my opinion, trackitt is doing right thing by deleting any references to IV on this forum. That is what they deserve.
Here is my original posting:

I am just one of you and the strong supporter and contributor of ImmigrationVoice. I am also waiting for my green card, just like all of you. However, what I am writing below is very practical and realistic. Therefore, before anyone gets mad at me, deletes my post or bans me, please think about it carefully what I am saying and why I am saying.
Why do we want green card? For our own benefit so that we can live and work in the USA, make money in dollars, buy a big house, open a company, get luxury car or whatever we would like to do in our life and whatever great opportunity USA has to offer us. Therefore, we are fighting for our own selfish cause. We fighting for our greencard, we are not doing any favor to anyone, neither doing any social service.
Therefore, we should not expect that everyone in the world should just help in achieving our goal for no financial gain or even at the loss of their income.
Consider this:
* If I am hungry, is the grocery store taking an advantage of my hunger and trying to make money from my hunger?
* If I need house, is the builder taking an advantage of my housing needs and trying to make money from my pain?
* If I am seek or injured, is the doctor/hospital taking an advantage of my situation and making money from my suffering?
Does it mean all of them should serve you for free?
If the answer to any of the above is yes,
* Are we not taking an advantage of our employer's business needs and trying to make money from their pain, by asking for salary for the work we do for them?
If the answer is no,
Why are we blaming to the web sites like trackitt that they are trying to take the advantage of our immigration situation and trying to make money from our pain? That is his business model.
After all, immigration attorneys are making money from our situation? Aren't they? I was present in the DC rally. And some of the attorneys were present there. In addition to helping us, wasn't their goal to also publicize their law firm and get more clients? I don't see anything wrong in this. That is how the economy of this world works.
Moreover, as mentioned by couple of other members in this thread, IV has been deleting the links pointing to other web sites. I am sure all of those links would not be spamming. Many of them would contain very useful information that the poster is looking for and is available for free.
If we delete other web sites' links, why do you think other web sites should publicize IV for free?
Our goal is to fight for the employment based immigration fixes. If that is really the case, why are we looking to become general purpose immigration portal, discuss visitor visa, student visa, family immigration and everything else? Why don't we stick to our goal? What was the need to make the immigration tracker when trackitt already has one nice one running for some time?
We can't expect to get one way benefit. And we can't argue that just because we are fighting for a community goal (which is not the case as described above) and therefore everyone should help us for free. And on the other hand, if anyone tries to post their links on IV, that person is simply trying to make money from our pain. In my opinion, that is inappropriate mentality and it is not working out, as I can see.
I believe we should try to work out the mutually beneficial arrangements with other immigration web sites. May be propose link exchanges. May be do banner exchange. May be offer some money to them or some other incentive. I am sure they may have a better response.
I have spent a good amount of time thinking about this and writing this long post. And I of course don't represent trackitt, have no personal interest in trackitt web site neither I am trackitt admin. If seniors here still think that I am completely wrong, I would say goodbye to IV and I would be sad for doing that. |
