Topic: EC from US ?

Hello Nancy,

You should be fine if you apply for Visa by end of Feb 2009 and 6 months rule applies only when submitting your documents for Tier1 EC. After successful completion for your Tier1 EC, you are free to travel anytime between 3 years of Visa validity. There is no hard and fast rule stating you should travel with in stipulated time period, but the longer you delay the travel, the longer you ILR will get delayed.

Once yo complete the online application, you will be asked to send the documents to LA consulate, you ca njust mail them, need not go in person.

Thanks,
Pats

Yes, so you will be able to apply earliest after 16 Dec. YOu can get the process started after that dated. If you are using bank statements make sure you are applying before on or before 23 Dec (based on 7 day rule for those outside UK).
