Topic: I 485 approval for my spouse

Hi,
I got my card on August 07 but my wife's still pending almost for a year now. Got 2 SRs, no response except "still within processing time". In January 08 went for an Infopass at Norfolk, VA (processing center is TSC), where the IO told us that name check and background check was cleared, and she does not understand why we have not recieved her GC yet.

Only God can help us get through this system!

Topic: Confused about the approval notice for my son.

I got the same for my daughter, aged 8 years, in September, 2007. Then in early October, she was asked to go to a service centre for her Biometrics. We went on 5th October, and they fingerprited her index finger and took her photograph. I have not heard anything from them yet. My own application was approved on 21st August, and got my card a week later. Hope this helps

same here.
PD 29th sept, 2005. NIW-EB2. Primary Approved 8/21/07.
Wife's still pending. My 2nd FP was 5th May, 2007. But she has not got her 2nd FP notice as yet. Does that have anything to do with approval?
