You have 2 options.
1. File now as a Premium case. Pay the money if your company is not willing to do so.
2. Dont file the extension now. Use your AP to come back. And once you are here file for an H1 extension. You can get the h1 stamped when you go next |

Yes it is possible. I think it needs to be filed within 6 months of expiry (maybe 12 months, dont remember the exact number). Hurry up and get it filed immediately. |

1. Your company is paying for it
2. You are not married and plan to in near future and have your spouse join on H4.
3. If GC is denied you are still on H1 status and continue to work. |

You can write the letter on your own describing your job duties, role , projects and duration. Print it out on the letter head of your company and get is signed by your reporting manager (do mention his email/phone). |

You should not have any issues/questions if you have the papers in order. Make sure you carry the following supporting docs .
1. Employment Verification Letter
2. Project Experience Letter/Job Duties
3. Recent Salary Slips (3)
4. Recent W2 (3)
5. I129
