just got a call from employer that it was approved ... what use with this other than just to wait for some years ... I wrote a mail to DOL as below during the Aug 2nd week , which reads as follows : Irony it just got approved a day later .....
"The USICS have come out with a Cut of Date to file applications until 08/17/2007.
The next opportunity for all of us stuck in ATLANATA PERM Center may not be until another 5 yrs. Even a day after Aug 17th, if we all get approved, it will be no help for us and we will all be stuck for many years together with all our careers getting to a stale.
We do understand that Atlanta was involved with h2b cases and that was the cause of the delay. We all value your efforts to clear up the backlogs so far.
So I sincerely request you to please process the 100 day older applications with first priority and help us get back our careers, which otherwise will be lost.

ATLANTA is a complete shit ... it has played with lifes of many peop,e ... i have many applications approved for my employer who have the same job order as mine but still mine is pending ..where is FIFO here ... its alll some kind of a eye wash . ....
Friends ..i know many dejected folks here ... just be patient ...the next one is not too far ... hopefully we have another one coming our way within couple of yrs ...also one important thinbgt is that .."WE SHOULD ALL GET OUT OF ATLANTA BEFORE THEN atleastg"... this is one pf the fu... thing i have ever seen in my life ... Hopefully i dont want to post anything here ...just update u guys when status chnges ....i wanted to keep quite all these days still could not and was just checking and posting somehting now & then in the site ..but now i feel its time to stop thinking that ATLANBTA ever going to do things properly... |

its not the end of the world.. even if its next week there is a chance ... we can print out the copy and submit the case .. if there is a RFE we can submit later ..this is the update i got from my lawyer..so still 5 more days to go ... lets have a good week end and face the eventuality next week ... we need very strong hearts for next week for last minute approvals ... |

Looks like the friday silence is very unusual ... offcourse for the last 3 weeks..maybe they are working on some consolidation and sending all bunch approvals at the eod today... hope thats the case .... |

Dont worry ..ATLANTA provides equal oppurtuinty for everybody. Its all in the lucky draw for today. I would say the mix of appls in their box for now is
50 % April
30 % May
10 % June
10 % All other Months ... This is what we are seeing too for quite some time ...
Just wish somebody gets approved offcourse you could be one among them ... but what all i want is Approvals ..i dont like the silence ....
By the way folks ,
if you get a approval and dont update the tracker and go away , USICS will raise a RFE for not updating the tracker..... Our sincere wish is for that .... so pls do what is required before opeing up the bottles for the day on hearing some good news ... |
