Topic: Tier-1 rules - Points from previous earnings

Hi Sridhar,

You need the below docs to claim points for Age, Education, english proficiency & prev. earnings.

For Age proof: Original DL is enough.

Education Proof: Original Degree Certificate & Mark sheets

English Req: Since you have good amount of time, I would suggest you to get a letter from your university (though it may not be required if your university is listed under 'http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/pointscalculator')

Prev. Earnings: Get last 12months payslips which are attested by your HR. IT returns docs are compulsory atleast for last 2 years.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Phani

Topic: Administrative Review from May 2008

Hi Ravi,

I am not sure how to get your docs back. But i feel that admin review would not help in your case.

BHC seems to be very conservative & strict with regards to Funds maintenance section.

As per the rules, the funds need to be maintained for last 3 months with day to day transactions from the date you submit the EC application. The bank statements should be taken 1 or 2 days before (as per rules within 7 days) the EC application date. Apart from this there should be a money transaction on the day you take the bank statement.

In your case, there was no transaction almost for a month. (between 19th May & 26th July)

If it is possible, i would suggest you to go for a fresh application than admin review.

In these forms i read somebody's case similar to you who went for a fresh application with correct bank statements again and got the EC within 10 days.

Congrats Kamal :-)

All the best with good luck.

Did you request specifically for post dated Visa or just based on your travel date did they give post dated visa ?

Topic: AUGUST & SEPETMBER - EC - APPLYING

Update to my Tier-1 application.

*******************EC Progress ********************
EC applied on :6th of August
Applied From : Bangalore VFS
Integra Verification : Today got a call from Integra directly on my Mobile
BHC Direct Verification : No updates
Called for Interview : N/A
Interview Date : N/A
EC Status : Pending
EC Approved on : Pending
Passport Delivered on :Pending
***************************************************

Integra called me today and just asked whether if i am still with my current company. Thats it.

Surprisingly the lady who called me from Integra (from Mumbai number) was speaking in Hindi and she was unable to pronounce my name & my company name properly.

I am not sure whether if they called my HR for verification or not.

Topic: Anyone with HSMP Approval Letter applying for Tier1 after 1st April

Hi Srini,

Thanks for your response :-)

So did you send the bank statement for rest of the 20 days later to BHC through Fax ?

I have send you an email to your gmail id. It would be great if you provide your contact so that we can discuss.

Cheers,
Phani

Topic: Anyone with HSMP Approval Letter applying for Tier1 after 1st April

Hi,

Congratulations !

I am happy to know that you got EC clearance, but at the same time i am surprised to see that you didn't show 2800GBP for 3 months.

Can you please tell me what are all the documents you submitted for EC ? (especially for maintenance requirement funds and for how many months you showed)

It would be really helpful for me if you can provide those details.

Cheers,
Phani

Topic: Anyone with HSMP Approval Letter applying for Tier1 after 1st April

Hi Amit,

I am in the same situation like you. I got HSMP approval letter on 24th of Jan and it is going to expire on 24th of July. I got to know about this new rule of maintenance funds in last week of April. So now i don't have 90days time, but started maintaining my account with required funds from 30th of April. So i have opportunity to show only for nearly 80days (savings acc) and I am planning to submit my Credit Card balance statement as a supporting document as i have very good Cash limit. But i don't know how far it will work.

Planning to apply for EC on 22nd of July.

Please share with me your approach and ideas for submitting the EC application.

Cheers,
Phani
