Topic: Card Production Ordered Club. Feel Free to join the club!!

Hi,

I am sorry if this has been answered, but I am quite confused. I got some approval notices in the mail and I got the physical green card. I've been reading this board and it seems I have to go to INFOPASS to get a passport stamp? Or do I no longer need to do that? Should I be expecting any more mail on what to do? I got a welcome letter together with the card, but it did not mention anything about infopass...

Thanks and congrats to all!

Topic: Is there anybody working at the Atlanta Center this year?

this really sucks because the immigration officers at the airports are even telling me that I should be getting a green card since I've been here for 11 years and working for 5 years now. A pity they can't do anything with my application though.

I've tried to ask the lawyer to contact the DOL, but they keep insisting the DOL will not respond and it is more reliable to go through the website to check for the status.

When the lawyer sends an email to the DOL after 120 days, what kind of answer would you get? Does it just say its still pending or does it give more details as to why its pending, how long more its going to take? It's driving me insane...

Topic: Is there anybody working at the Atlanta Center this year?

Looking at the board, it seems very few people got any PERMs accepted between the month of Jan and Feb this year. Or people are not updating the cases. What is going on? My lawyer keeps saying there is no update. But surely there must be a certain time frame where we can contact the center and get more details on the status? Any ideas?

Topic: My perm file on 10/31/2007 and audit response time on 12/28/2007.

hmmm...lets see....applied on May 4th, audit responded by oct 19th...still no updates. Other colleagues in the same company had the same audit, responded the same time and PERM has already been approved. Just for my sanity, I would like to think of it as random...
