From what I know if you have a pending 485 and have a parole document ( AP ) then you do not have to register when entering ( NSEERS ).

Topic: Processing timelines for EB1C

EB1C is current ie. you will not have to wait if all else is OK with your case. My I-140 ( EB1C ) got thru in 4 weeks in 2005. Also I think the 485 got thru in normal timeline - however FBI name check held it up after that and now I am in the 47000 case pile somewhere!

Topic: TSC FBI Name Check related pending 485 "sweeps" resulting in soft 485 LUDs 3/10/2008 and 3/11/2008

I am a casual user of this service and am a bit surprised not to see any discussion related to the tens of thousands of cases that were supposedly helf up due to FBI Name Check and got a kick start after the March 10 2008 sweeps at TSC ( and possibly other centers ). I am surely one of them. Got 485 soft LUDS for self and dependents on 3/10/2008 and 3/11/2008 but nothing since. During previous infopass appointments in 2007 I was told that the only think left is FBI Name Check. Who else got 485 soft LUDs on 3/10/2008? And should this number not be HUGE?
