Topic: My Experience with AP

I am just telling my experience. We only handed one original and the IO requested the other one. And he kept it. We just followed instructions.

Topic: My Experience with AP

You need two originals of your AP. That was the only document other than your passport that the IO requested. They only asked us if we were working in USA ans what did we do. They process our documents in the back room for 20 minutes. Then he kept one original of the AP and gave us back the other original with the stamp. He explained us that we should use that stamped original next time we needed to travel.

Topic: Traveling on AP - Question about Documents

We just came back using our AP this week, through Miami Airport.

All good experience for us. At the airline counter the lady double checks that the AP is original. She looks through the light that there is a seal. When we arrived to the IO, he was very friendly. He put our information in the system, ask us questions about our reason of traveling, and if we where employed in USA and doing what. He read his screen and told us that he had to call another IO to escort us to the back room to process or case. When we arrived to the room, it was empty, just the 3 officers working. We where the first in line and the Officer took our documents whithin 2 minutes. He called us to request the two oriiginals of AP since we only provided one original and our passport. We gave the other original and he told us to sit down. He put our info in the system and within 25 minutes he called us with our AP stamped and explained us how it works and told us that we were free to go. He kept one original and gave us back the other.

Conclusion, do not travel unless you have your 2 original AP.

Good luck.
