Topic: February 2009 VISA BULLETIN PREDICTION, EB3/INDIA!!
What does it matter? Might go up a week might go back 10 years. Other than tracking the people's sentiments, all of these prediction threads are a waste of time. My sentiment right now is obviously demoralizing.
They like the letter 'U' very much, so let them make all 'U'...
dates don't matter, waste of time and piece of crap - don't care. |
Topic: Is it possible to stay in US on EAD after L1 expires?
yes.
as long as you are not caught...
chill out man, don't worry about status, because it is not possible to follow rules and stay in status for long time in this country, you have to follow mexican path for that..
so have some mexican friends and have la fiesta..
Rule wise, answer is NO. you cannot, but I am no lawyer. |
Topic: Acting Director of USCIS has resigned.
geeBC:
Question is: slower than this - is it possible? they are already at speed 0. if they go slower, that means its -ve (taking away already issued green cards and citizenships??)
well, yeah, you could be right. whatever slow rate is working for ROW, that can be still slowed down. for indians, chinese etc, any change can lead to +ve direction only. we are already in a deep hole.. |
Topic: Weird message on my account.
Is anybody getting this message when you click on your case?? -- Higher usage
It was reported to us that your IP address or internet gateway has been locked out for a select period of time. This is due to an unusually high rate of use. Topic: Writting a Letter to Barack Obama - PLEASE READ.
Jay and all,
First of all, sorry for creating new thread. The original thread is quiet messy with lot of comments in it. My humble request to all: Please do not respond to this thread. Please use it for "read-only" purpose. I will request admin to remove this thread after 2 days or so. I was a silent reader to the original thread and did not feel appropriate to put my inputs in it.
I am writing a letter to Barack Obama regarding immigration matter - however only for myself and with my case details. Though it is not necessary to put the details of the letter here since it is not talking about all the sufferers, I am specifically going to mention that this letter is formatted for only 1 individual for a simple reason of "not having a unity among all."
Jay, your effort is appreciated. Though the letter had serious flaws, at least you initiated a move and that is a bigger thing.
For all others: first to fellow Indians and Pakistanis - The hardest part for me to digest is - even after almost 200 years of slavery, we did not learn the lesson. This is simply because the freedom came for free to us, we did not have our sweat or blood invested in it and on top of it our predecessor generation could not make sure that we understand the efforts and importance of being united even in tough times. Probably they also did not understand the value of it and that is why we are where we are. And even bitter truth is: since we don't understand it's importance, we won't be able to pass it on to next generation - our American kids or Indian American kids. At an individual level - we care so much for our greencard case but when it comes to get together and do something about it - we start pulling legs. WE WILL NEVER IMPROVE AS A TEAM.
What I did not understand is: when the originator is saying that he is open for suggestions and is willing to reformat the letter on everyone's behalf, what is the point in harping on him? Letter had serious errors and topics that should not have been covered - understood very well, but doesn't your common sense say that let us get away with this and try to be productive in everybody's interest when we are also part of this "everybody"? Doesn't your common sense tell you that always the first format is not good as compared to improved successive trials when more people get involved and work on something together? Most of you are probably very educated people but see, where your education is taking you to?
for all others: when Indians and Pakistanis - our brothers and sisters for the matter of green card (we may have lot of enmities among each other, but for this particular scenario, both are in trouble and both need to work together to solve it), we share common languages, we share common mentalities, we share common cultures but still we are not united and we have lot of issues among each other - what to expect from non Indians? When you don't have unity at your home, how would you expect it to prevail in entire world?
So, the moral is even though Obama would be willing to work with all of us together in solving this burning issue at the minimum what he would need is "unity among ourselves". Unless we will be able to provide him that, he cannot and will not be able to help us. Understand that very well.
First blow will go from my side. I promise. I am sending this letter and letting him know about the current immigration situation with my case and will make sure to let him know that we do not have unity. Exploitation can and will be expected unless you can work without us having a unity. We deserve this.
Thank you.
And again: Please treat this thread as: "Read-only". I don't need your comments. |

Topic: EB3-India Predictions in Oct Bulletin
Guys:
How far do you think EB3-India dates will move in the October bulletin..??
I wish rrr is correct. However reading the lines very carefully in the visa bulletins when they made it U for EB3/India it seems that at the most the date would be 01/01/2003. They have said that there may be a need to retrogressed...
I am also eb3, india and I am also tired.. i wish they move dates quickly and do something to get us GCs... |
Topic: Who made the software systems for USCIS ??? Any idea
i wrote after reading gandhiji's response, and roxy extended his post with more words nothing new.
h2s the compenent of bad eggs like roxy
the difference is:
I am not roxy and my response was not in same lines as roxy.
it is completely different than roxy if you read the lines carefully. i am saying naturalized citizens and she is saying non naturalized citizens (we all will be non naturalized citizens, if at all we get there......) |
Topic: Who made the software systems for USCIS ??? Any idea
I think it must be built by citizens of this country strictly (mostly naturalized).
I cannot think of any other group doing this. government won't allow that otherwise there may be a slick chances of any partiality that can be oversighted by detailed testing.. |
