My answers
When did you apply for renewals?
We applied on June 13, 2008.
Was it paper-based or efile?
Paper-based from our lawyers
By the way out of curiosity, why did you apply 485 so late considering yoru 140 was approved way back?
My I-140 was approved in Sep 2006.
My labor June 13, 2003 was not "current" in Sep 2006 - till June 2007.
Due to a mistake/delay by our lawyers, we applied in July 2007.
These were filed with NSC, went to WAC (got our first EADs and APs from there).
Transferred back to NSC on Sep 18, 2007. |

Yes, I have 2 LUDs on my 485 - July 22 and July 23
No LUDs on my wife's 485
2. Did you get your EAD renewal approved regardless of 485 approval?
We have both of our EAD renewals approved - July 17, cards received on July 22
3. Did your EAD process got abandoned because of 485 approval?

Topic: Representative told NSC processing date is moved to Jul 22, 2007

Did NSC specify that this "processing date" is the RECEIPT DATE (RD) ?
Or did they say it is the NOTICE DATE (ND)?
The reason I ask is that our 485s (EB2) have RD of July 20, 2007 but ND of Sep 18, 2007.
Going by the various approvals seen so far, the only pattern I have been able to see is that of ND.
Various EB2 cases over the past few days have been with NDs of Sep 5, 9 and 11, 2007.
Hopefully, the date the lady gave you is the RD, then we can expect ours any day now, since we are past it (July 20) |
