hoping - I have also not heard or seen anything like this before and that is why I am confused. I did confirm multiple times with my father whether it was USCIS.

As far as I remember, I-485 application asks for a contact telephone number. EAD application also asks for the same. So it is there in the records.

Today afternoon I received a call from USCIS on my home phone. I was not there at home. My father received it. The person on the other side just said that he is calling from USCIS, asked for me and when my father said that I am not at home, he said that he will call back again. I got the Card Production Ordered email for myself and my wife 3 days back.
Is it normal to receive a call from USCIS after the GC approval? If yes, what is the call about?

I received the Card Production ordered email for myself and my wife this morning. Feels like a big relief.

Notice date of my I-485 is July 2006. I applied under EBIC. Still waiting for the GC. Every time I call the Customer Service, I am told that my case is not current. The Customer Service Rep first says yes your case is current (after checking the system) but when they go to put in a query, the system tells that my case is not current so cannot put in a query. Don't know why their system tells 2 different things. Hoping...
