Topic: EAD for H4 Visa Holders

Guys is there any hope for H4 visa holders whose spouse's (H1B) GC processing is not started?

They should give EAD to all H4s instead of certain of them. Its not like there are millions of H4s.
By the time H1B folks reach that stage when H4s will be able to work it will already be a long gap of being without a job.
Still something is better than nothing but allowing work rights as in L2 could have been much simper.

Topic: H-1B and L-1B total number of years with gap

Hi,

I was in the US from April 2010 to Feb 2012 on L1B and was then out of US. I'll be entering again in Jan 2014 with a fresh H1B.
Please let me know if the 6 years cap will include my years spent on L1B too.

Thanks.

Topic: H1B Stamping

Hi,

If H1B stamping is done and suddenly the employer decides not go ahead with employing me then can I apply for H1B Transfer with any other company? I havent yet entered the US.

Thanks,
Abhishek

Topic: H-1B Stamping in London

Hi Guys,

I got my H-1B petition approved on 12th August 2013. I’m currently working in the UK on Tier 2 ICT Short term visa. My current job role will get over by end of October 2013 and then I’ll have to travel back to India.

Now I need to get my H-1B stamping done. Please suggest if I should do it from UK or I should wait until I go back to India and then get the stamping done from there. I want to do the stamping as soon as possible but I’m worried if I get it done in UK and get a 221g then it will be difficult for me as I don’t have much time to stay in UK.

Please suggest.
Thanks!!
