Topic: do i need pass port stamping

HI,
i got my plastic green card through AOS i 485 couple of days back. i never went to india for 10 years as all my relatives are in USA. but my wife wants to go to india( she got her card also). now if i she is travelling back with her greencard does she need to go for greencard stamping on passport. or she can travel india with physical greencard it self. just to let you know her new passport has no stamping on it.

we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. Jay i called up USCIS. first lady who picked up said my case should were it should be ready to assign to IO.
couple of more calls and one nice IO said i should hear something in 15 days.

15 days pass long back now.

Do you think we can all unite and write a lettet to USCIS and it will work ? i mean we all formate a letter to USCIS and sign up our names and receipt number and send out letters ?

service request number is like tracking number. when you call up next time you give that tracker and they can pull you up
