Topic: AUGUST & SEPETMBER - EC - APPLYING

Hello pjman , phani9 and ypkr,
Thanks once again for your wishes.....

(1) I had asked for a post dated visa - 20th Oct 2008 on my VAF9 and I got it as per request.
(2) Mostly would be flying early next year.
(3) Done basic job search and research, through the info available in this thread.

Hello ypkr,
All the very best for your EC.
Most things you have mentioned and done are correct, as I've also gone through a similar experience. The only check point I would like to add and confirm with you is the "last date of transaction". From other cases in this forum I gather that BHC is not really doing the smart thing and seem in-sensitive to the actual date of the bank statement. They (BHC) are generally looking at the "last date of transaction" as the reference point for date of bank statement and not the actual "From- To" date of the bank statement printout, which I feel is a bit illogical, but still one should not take chances here and go by their understanding.

Hello Sanjith,
There is no hard and fast rule over here for how long it would take after integra verification?. Looking at trends in this forum for first time applicants of EC, it looks like overall the process takes about 30 calendar days....so keeping this bench mark you should get your visa on or before 18th Sept.

All the very best!!

Hello Naina,
Yes, you must show your sources of funds in the form of salary slips/other relevant documentations/sale transaction receipts/loan approval letter/sponsorship letter from relatives/etc. along with your bank statement for all large deposits made in your account.

Topic: JUNE & JULY EC Status

Hello induk,
Congrats .....and its great to know that BHC took only a few hours (same day) to re-sissue a post dated Visa after requesting for a correction.
Did you get an appointment done at BHC or did you just walk into the BHC Center un-scheduled?

Topic: Arranging Courier to Pick-Up Documents

Hello madoo77,
Use the e-mail given to contact your case worker or call up the home office and get your case workers e-mail id:

Then use the services of Mail Boxes Etc (MBE) ..... just drop a mail to info@mbesheffield.co.uk and they will provide you all the details end to end on your documents collection and delivery process.
Once formalities are decided with MBE ...just drop a mail to your case officer (at home office) telling them about the pick-up/collection date/time through MBE
