I'm in the same situation like you. I was done with my medicals on '04 Aug 08' and finally ordered CAIPS with the help of our immigration consultant 'canadaimmigration@shiltechnologies.com'.
With the help of CAIPS notes, I could know the BFD as '12 Nov 08'. Once after the 'Bring Forward Date' I contacted my Immigration Consultant to know about my case. I was then told that I will hear soon. i.e By the end of Dec'08.
But, I have not received anything yet and still waiting for the response. However, my Immigration Consultant is trying to order my CAIPS once again to see what happened after the BFD.

Order the CAIPS notes to see your BFD (Bring Forward Date). One of the way to get the CAIPS notes is to order yourself ONLY if you have somebody in CANADA as a PR holder or a Canadian Citizen.
If you DONT Have anybody then the best way is to spend $45 and get it through a Immigration Specialist. Send an email to this guy and see if he can help you. canadaimmigration@shiltechnologies.com

It would be a good idea to have a "Visa Sub-Office" column. We are Unalbe to track the number of PR's issued from a particular visa office.
For example. I submitted the applicaiton at "Buffalo". The file is then transferred to LA. Unfortunately I'm not able to track the number of cases that i've processed from LA office.

I hope that CEC process will check the job we are currently working on. The job we do should match with the list that CIC would have. This list was supposed to be released by now. This my guess and not 100% sure. Some one should shed some light on this.

Topic: How can trackitt help?

The Consular Post is same as Visa Office. But, within USA there are various Visa Offices like LA, NY, Detroit and Buffalo. When I wanted to see the number of cases completed from a Individual visa office, I couldn't.
We are able to search ONLY by selecting BUFFALO and not the sub offices within USA. This is specially needed when our case is transferred to a sub office.
Please let me know if this make sense.

We are unable to track the Number of Canadian PR's Issued from a particular Consular post. If this can be introduced asa filter option then we should be able to know the exact number of cases that have been processed and issued from a each different consulates abroad.
