I've requested expedite process on 9/30 (case filed on 6/19) and still waiting for approval.
I am trying to see how long it took for you after requesting expedite process.

I've planned my trip and booked my tickets 3 months back (non refundable air tickets). My wife and kids are already there and we have a family occasion and i need to attend and bring back my kids with me. More over it has been more than 110 days since i applied. I never thought it'll take so long. I am drafting a letter to fax. Thanks for the response. |

I am also waiting for my I-131 approval. It has been more than 110 days. I've called the service center and requested for quick I-131 approval. Lady there opened a ticket and promised me to do what ever she can. It has been more than a week now and i didnot hear back any thing. I am thinking of sending them a request by post. I read "krishousehere " posting here, you got approval in 8 hours. Can you tell me how you requested and reason you used? Did you Fax or Post or did you walkin to local office? And what reason did you give? Your approach might help me. I have to Travel in October last week and worried. Thanks in advance. |
