Topic: TSC - latest processing times - exclude I-140
Hello,
Its not only from TSC, i checked this morning for CSC / NSC and i dont see the I-140 dates in either of them.
Only VSC has status for I-140.
I'm surprised on this status difference between the various service centers.
Appreciate any kind of feedback in this regards.
Goodluck to all and pray to god to give us the strength for all of us to be patient !!

Topic: Proof of English as primary language
Hello Kanika,
Here is some info that might be of help to you regarding your query's for English language and Police Verification Certificates.
1.ENGLISH LANGUAGE: If you are not from an Native English speaking country - Then you have to take the IELTS Exam and submit the scores. You can take the exam once you get to hear from the CIC.However you can submit proof of your ability to speak/listen/read & write in english.........
I too when i filed my application with the CIC, submitted a letter informing my skills in english language, however CIC asked me to submit my IELTS score and i had no option other than to take the exam and submit the scores.
2.POLICE VERIFICATION CERTIFICATES: If you are an Indian and residing in the US,then you can go to the nearest Indian Embassy and request them for a police verification certificate by paying the fees and submitted the required documents. You will get your certificate in 7-8 working days.I did the same and got my certificate in 7 days.
Hope you find this informative.
Goodluck,

Hello All,
yes the cost of medicals for Canadian immigration is expensive.
As mentioned in the above reply, it is : $425 for an adult and $203 for a child. For a child there is only physican and not other tests to be done.
Unlike for the US greencard, there are no vaccinations involved for the Canadian PR
The cost included : x-ray / physical examination / blood test / Urinalysis.
Ofcourse u got to take 5 photographs of each person. |
Topic: IELTS
Hello,
This is regarding your IELTS question.
Just wanted to let you know that if your native language is not English, then i advise you to just take the IELTS General Test and submit your scores to the Canadian consulate. Please dont waste your time and energy and money in trying to convince the canadian officials your english skills............It *DOES NOT WORK* and the Canadian officials will not consider this at all.Ofcourse there might be some exceptional cases where they do consider, but the probablity is very low.
So, if your native language is not English, then please register your self for the IELTS General test. Its pretty easy if you are well versed in the language.
Personally, i too did submit a letter informing my english skills, but i was asked to take the exam..........i did take the exam without any sort of preparations and i got a overall band score of 8.
So register ur exam and get ur score...U save valuable processing time!!
Hope this helps you...........goodluck!! |
