Topic: Continued soft LUDs after I-485 approval

Dear all,

My I-485 was approved on July 18 and I have already received emails welcoming me as a new PR and informing that "card production ordered". However, I noticed that there were soft LUDs on my and my wife's I-485 cases on 7/20 and 7/21 (I did not check on 7/19). Is this normal?

Regards---

Topic: Will my EAD renewal touch my 485 by any chance?? thru PPP? :-)

This actually says that USCIS will stop "concurrent filing" of I-140 and I-485. This has nothing to do with the Plus Pilot program.

Their limit is 20 weeks, but usually you get in 6-8 weeks.

Topic: I-140 Delay in Texas and still pending

I do not think it applies to all I-140's. My EB2 I-140 was approved at TSC yesterday even though my (EB2) PD is nowhere near the cut-off date.

That is very bad. The point of a public forum is to share information so that everyone is benefited. If red22 has no intention of doing that, then please no one answer any questions s/he might post.

What was this RFE about?

Topic: People who are waiting for more than 400 days for I 140 and Has H1B try to move to Canada!

In next 5 years, if you are not physically present in Canadian soil for at least 3 years (or working for a canadian company abroad), then they most likely will not renew your PR. So really you can stay in US for 2 years; after that you risk losing the canadian GC.

Topic: What is meant by concurrent I-140 and I-485 filing ?

If you submit I-140 and I-485 applications at the same time, it is called concurrent. Of course you can do that only if at the time you submitted your I-140, the cut-off date was "C" (i.e., +infinity).
