Whatheheck,

Congradulations ! Finally you are free.

I filed my greencard labor in 2002 under EB2 and still waiting for 485 approval. I would appreciate, if you can mail me the format that you used to write to congressman to my email id rajag4ever@gmail.com

Topic: Old Timers 2002/2003 - Any hopes for us ?

For the past one and a half year , my case is under additional review. I do not want to discourage you but 'Additional review' means USCIS taken over our lives and the case will be delayed for long.

Looking at the recent approvals, it seems USCIS has made a decision to not touch old cases during Aug-Sep , even though many are good to go. I do not have any hopes for whole 2008 . They aren't going to work in Nov and Dec and many of them will be on extended vacation for the rest of the year.

Topic: Case is pending to the office to which it was transferred...

If a case is transferred means most probably you are stuck for ever. When you call USCIS , they will say it is under additional review. Look at the history of transferred cases . It is not to discourage you but it is a fact .
