Topic: WP to Tier 1 application from UK only

Guys,
Anyone who got switched from WP(thru indian company) to Tier 1 should help ppl to apply for Tier 1.
ppl are more confused in Previous Earnings section and the relevant supporting documents.
Its a complex case. But one thing is sure that, ppl who doesnt have travel plans for 3 months can apply for Tier 1.
HO takes hell out of time to process a single application due to this complexity of cases.

People who got switched from WP to Tier 1 should come forward to share their experience and advices fo the new & future applicants.

Regards
Kannan

Topic: WP to Tier 1 application from UK only

Guys,
There are lots of confussions in the Previous Earnings section for people who switch from WP to Tier 1 from UK.
a. Partly UK Allowance and partly Home country Salary
b. Dual country salary
c. confussion on which band to be considered
d. Maintanance Fund
and so on.....

Guys lets start posting your advices for the future applicants, and help them to get Tier 1 Approval.

cheers!
Kannan

Topic: HSMP process

Hi Ram,
As far as I know there is no difference in Work point of view. Both of you can work independantly even one of you is a dependant of other.

Case 1: If you add your wife as dependent,
1. Risk is Less. Both will get result togather.
2. Both will have same Tier 1 Expiry Date.
3. No fee for Dependent (If you apply from UK)
4. Comparitivey Cheaper fee (applying outside UK)
5. Less Documentation Effort.
6. I believe, later If required, the dependant can switch the immigration status from the UK if he/she is eligible as per PBS.

Case 2: Both apply Tier 1 seperately,
1. More documentation effort
2. Costlier to Apply
3. Maintanance Fund

Better read the policy and Google the web to understand similar kind of case....
