Here are my status Updates
August 18, 2008 - we mailed you a notice that we have approved (Never Received It)
August 25, 2008 - Called USCIS and complained about not getting Approval Notice Yet (Found they lost my Biometrics Info)
August 28, 2008 - USCIS sent a request to USCIS IT dept to find my Biometrics
September 10, 2008 we mailed the document to the address we have on file (Finally Sent my notice i Guess....)
September 12, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. (Hopefully I should get the Card now......)
September 17, 2008, Card Mailed. (Hopefully I should get the Card now......)
October 5, 2008 - Finally i got my Approval Notice but this time it went to my Attorney rather than me getting it to my home.
October 7 - Card Mailed (Again the same status saying that the card was being mailed. Its been 2 and half Months after approval and I still haven't got my green card )
God knows what USCIS is doing ..... every time i call them they tell that this time have mailed my green card wait for 30 days and call us again... |

Topic: No Card Yet after 20 Days of Approval ...
Still haven't got my Green Card yet. Online status shows that Approval Notice was Sent on Aug 19th which i didn't get yet ? I just called the USCIS and they told me that they are not able to find my Biometrics which i took in the Dec 2007. USCIS told me that they will contact the USCIS IT dept and it would take IT dept max of 10 days to find. If they find it they will the change the status to 'Card production ordered' within 1 day. If the IT dept doesn't find it then USCIS will have to reschedule me for a another Biometrics Appointment. I live in Phoenix and again to Dallas is big pain....Damn USCIS sucks...
In the mean while i can go the Nearest USCIS office and get my I-551 stamp in my Passport.
Notes:
1. Apparently USCIS have a bug in their system which doesn't load Biometrics of EAC receipt numbers into the SRC (Texas) system.
2. USCIS wouldn't know if the status is stuck at Approval Notice sent Until the Person calls and informs USCIS that they haven't received the Green Card Yet. |

Texas Service center or Chicago Lock Box... Not sure since my Attorney send it.. Charged me $600 attorney fees for I485, EAD, AP apart from $ 1010 filing fees for all 3...EAD and AP fee waived... Check this online status
"On August 11, 2008, we received this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT and request that we waive the filing fee. We have waived the filing fee and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. " |

Got the mail from CRIS on 8/29/2008 but the last update date on USCIS says 'Card Production Ordered' was on 9/1/2008... yeah 'labor day weekend' may be some kind of Automated messaging system they have.. |

Just got my Wife's EAD Approved 9/1/2008 TSC SRC0824654XXX.. PD Mar 2005. Added my wife to my 485 on Aug 13 2008 since i got married in Sep 2007. Recently got my 485 approved on 08/18/2008. Wow... Didn't even take 20 days for my wifes approval... last 30 days has been amazing ... |

I just got 'Greened' this morning. I got my my I140 Approved on Aug 13th and today i got the email from CRIS with the status 'Approval notice sent'.
Its not the end of the Happy story yet...
I got married in Sep 2007 and just applied for my wifes I485 (Also EAD and AP) on Aug 10 as my PD is in Mar 2005. Just called my attorney and he told me that he received the Receipts nos for my wife today. Don't know the status yet ... As my wife never had a finger printing yet , i am sure her I485 would not be approved with mine...
Does any one know whats gonna happen now ?????????????? |
