Topic: Card Production Ordered Club. Feel Free to join the club!!

I got the welcome notice email on 6/19.I havn't received the CPO and approval notice emails yet.
I havn't received the welcome notice as well in the USPS email.

Do we need to get the CPO and approval notice email before I can get the cards? Or should I be contacting USCIS about the delay. Please advise.

Thanks

Topic: Can we be without job/pay after GC approval?

Guys,
I'm in kind of a tricky situation.
I currently work for a consulting company who is sponsoring my GC.Our client has offered me a full time position and I was planning to use AC21 to switch over but better sense prevailed over me to continue with my current employer to avoid any issues in GC processing. Now my client is not willing to extend my contract.Given the current job market, I think it might take atleast a month or two for my employer to find me another project.
Just in case my I485 gets approved, can anyone please let me know if it is ok to be without pay (employer will not pay between projects) after the GC gets approved? Please advise.

Thanks.

Topic: EB2- 2004 NSC approvals

vdhananjay,
I faxed a letter to NSC and received a response from the USCIS director as well. For me the content was pretty much the same with an added line saying that the application was with IO and they would take 90-120 days to process.
I got couple of soft LUDs on my I485 on the days letters were sent out.

did you get any LUDs on your application?

Here is another one from Immigration Voice:

EB2 Feb 2004 India at NSC. 485 ND 9/12/2007. I recently saw a hard LUD and a few consecutive soft LUDs, if that helps.

Topic: Different responses from NSC and Infopass IO!!

Balleballe,
Did you get any LUDs on your I485 after you've received the letters?
I got 2 LUDs for each day of the date the letters were sent.I'm trying to guess the reason for the LUDs - Did they actually assign my application to an IO or just looked at the details to send the letters?

Topic: Different responses from NSC and Infopass IO!!

Hi All,
I've recently sent in a fax to NSC requesting them to look into my I485 application which has been outside the processing times.Couple of days back I received 2 letters from USCIS (signed by the Director) as below:

- First letter says that they have received my request but NSC currently is not processing or working on expedite requests and my application will be processed in the order it was received.
- Second letter has the same response as above but with an added line saying that my case is with an officer and I should expect a response from them in 90-120 days.

Yesterday I took an Infopass appointment with the hope that I would get accurate information. The IO (or CSR) at Infopass mentioned that my NC is still pending and the file has not been assigned to an officer yet!!

I'm perplexed and not sure whom to believe now - The letter signed by NSC director or the IO at Infopass!

Any ideas??
