Thanks a lot for the reply. My case is selected in lottery, received the EAC receipt number and approved from USCIS on July 2nd 2008. Could you please just outline what are the next steps that Employer and I should perform. I also want know generally when the petition will expire?

I got the approval notice from the USICS dated 2nd July 2008. But till now I have not got any information from my employer regarding the process of VISA stamping. Since I am bit worried about this please inform me, what is the deadline date for VISA stamping at the consulate after approval notice sent?

My case was approved on July 2nd and got a mail from USCIS on the same day. But till now I didn't get any updates from my employer regarding next process. Even I didn't know whether they have recieved my documents or not? Please inform me if any of you have got any updates from your employers after the case approval. What will be the next steps after the approval notice sent?

Hi vaish,
I have signed and returned back the offer letter to them. In offer letter they have mentioned as,
1) If case is not selected through lottery system, you have to pay Rs 6000/ as processing fee and Bank Guarantee will be returned.
2) company also reserves the right to recover 50% of the amount of the Bank Guarantee(BG) in case the visa of the Consultant gets rejected at any stage by any of the approving agencies.
there are 4 other points which will be applicable only if case is approved my USCIS.
Here my concern is above points are not mentioned in BG. In BG it is just mentioned agreement b/w me and company, means offer letter in which I have signed.

Hi All,
Is still anyone waiting for receipt number after selected in lottery. My consultant company informed me on may14 that I was selected in lottery (check en cashed) , but after that I didn't get receipt number. When I called them yesterday they said to wait for one more week. Since I had given a bank guarantee of 1 lack to them, now I started doubting them.

Even am also facing the same problem. My consultant company called me on 14th May and said that check was en cashed. But still now I have not got receipt number. I called them today again. They are telling that they are waiting for receipt number for some applications (including mine). I am bit tensed now. Please suggest. |

Some days back my consultant company called and said my application has been selected in the lottery. But after that I am not getting any update from them regarding receipt number. I am bit worried about this. I called them on 31 may 2008, they said they have to get receipt numbers for some applications. Please suggest me how should I go further.
