I just received "Card Production Ordered" emails (1 at 12:30pm 5/28, 1 at 7:30pm 5/28 same email). A soft LUD on 5/29 but no change on the message. |

As of Apr 08, primary's name check was still pending. Dependent's name check was clear in Nov 2006. Name check memo is still followed I believe. |

I called this morning. The IO asked me if I am aware of the new name check memo and i said yes. He then told me that they are going to try to clear these old cases by the end of May or first week of June. He said if I don't hear anything from them by then, contact them again. Nothing new. |

It is safe to call to request one anyhow. My lawyer is very bad. She informed me about the RFE one week after she had received it. Not only that, she charges for reading my email. What a lawyer! |

RFE goes to lawyer, but you can call to request one to be sent to you. |

zma73, I know it feels bad to not get any LUD. But please remember that there is no rule in their building. Who know, you may get your approval today or next Monday, while we who got RFE and LUD may need to wait for god knows how long. You never know, CIS is very good at giving surprise, good or bad. |

I just don't get it! I keep track and checked a few case numbers which are close to my number. I found two cases which replied their RFE on 3/25 and got approved on 3/28 today! 3 days after the RFE was received. Mine has been 3 weeks already! Really frustrated! There is no rule over there. |

I am in the same boat. I replied my RFE on 3/7 and got LUDs on 3/7, 3/10, and 3/20. So far, nothing yet. Please keep us posted when you guys receive the magic email. Good luck! |
