AOS Interview:  Cleared   (2 comments
User: rosezard Labor Filing Date: 06 Nov 2006
I-485 Received Date: 09 Mar 2007 Transferred to NBC: 14 Feb 2008
Interview Notice Issued: 06 Mar 2008 Interview Notice Received: 13 Mar 2008
Interview Date: 09 Apr 2008 Interview Location: Philadelphia, PA
Interview Status: cleared Nationality: Iran
Interview Experience: Here is my story: I went to my interview with my lawyer. It took just 10 min. She was very nice and everything was okay, except my fingerprint that came unreadable twice. Apparentely, my fingers' skin is too soft to be fingerprinted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She asked for police clearance report for the last 5 years. I moved to PA two years ago and before that I lived in CA, my problem is that CA need fingerprint for record. I sent everything and hope it works. I have a deadline to submit the letter, May 10th.

God willing you will get it very soon. I used my AP 3 months ago for the first time, that was very easy.

Good Luck

No activation is required, and there will be no issue when renew it. Once u use your AP or EAD, your status is no longer H1 holder, and you will be adjustee.

Topic: Transfer to National Benefits Center?

stueym: I had my interview at Philadelphia. Make sure to be there a little bit earlier to park. There is a public parking lot close to the office. U will go through security check, just have your appointment and DL ready, pretty easy. My IO was so nice, and it went very smooth. I didn't have any criminal records either. took one month to get the interview notice, had the interview a month later.

08/19/2005: Why Two Different Types of I-485 Approval Notices?
Posted in I-485 Forum on 03 Jun 2008
Topic: Physical Card and Card approval copies tracker

Emails:
May 12= CPO
May 13= Welcome notice
May 20= Approval notice

Mails:
May 16: Welcome notice
May 22: GC

My lawyer mailed me our approval notice(my husband and I).
The strange thing is: IT IS WELCOME NOTICE AGAIN with ND of approval notice. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Topic: How to stop myself looking at Track Itt and USCIS.gov

I have a bad news for u! It is like an addiction, and u can't get rid of that easily even after u get your card. Imagine u did sth over and over again, and u want to stop it. Before I joined the forum, I though I was the only one, but saw many like myself. KIND OF RELIEVING!

Topic: Transfer to National Benefits Center?

RoseZard: My wife is in the same situation. FP rejected twice. Her case got transfered to NBC just this morning. I think they are going to ask for Police Clearance.

Can you pls. tell me if they asked for any other documents? I just want to prepare ahead.

What other information that they need from your primary? My case (primary) is approved similar to yours.

Thanks for the help.

The IO was very nice and went over some basic questions: my full name,
my son's name, stuff like that. Took only 10 min. We prepared tons of docs, but she didn't ask for one of them. The only doc that she asked for was the I-140 approval that my lawyer gave it to her. Then, she gave me a red paper that asked me to provide the clearance letter for 5 years, and asked my lawyer to hand-deliver it to USCIS.
