Topic: April VB Predictions for Dates

I'd bet on tomrrow PM as well.
I've been tracking & recorded the dates when VB came out in the past 12 months & came up with an observation; it never comes out after the 10th working day of the month and most often it is on the 9th working day => tomorrow.

As for the dates themselves, none of my 'models/prediction' turned out to be true so I won't make any.

Good luck to you all

Topic: Spoke with IO at NCS today and my LUD changed

hokseniuk, I am no immigration expert (just in cheerful mood since I got my approval) so do not take what I say as necessarily true.

Let me see if I understand your case:
You’re the EB3 Row primary + 2 dependants
PD 3/4/2004
I485 RD 6/21/07
2 rfe replied on time
card order 3/10 and welcome notice on 3/11
then I guess today on 3/12 the status on the 3 I-485 application changed again to RFE

I won’t speculate too much, it could be a mixed up in applications as you suggested or anything else (potentially fingerprint related) wait until you get the Rfe & talk to your attorney.

The encouraging thing for you is that you had both system update, it suggests that the examiner did not deem the cause of the rfe sufficient to totally stop the approval (it could be something you already provided & simply need to provide an update for, for instance the welcome notice refers to ADIT, meaning pending current Fingerprint).

Stay optimistic & good luck

Topic: Spoke with IO at NCS today and my LUD changed

hokseniuk, soft implies the date change but the message remained the same (pending for instance). Hard refers to change in message & date, at least that’s how I used those acronyms. Your case is surprising, it is actually difficult to guess cuz Ur profile is empty in trackitt.

Did you get a welcome notice, card order or both email ?

Topic: Spoke with IO at NCS today and my LUD changed

Ix, good remark. I probably have misspoken, I do not know if it talked to an IO or customer service representative.
I know that it was a polite & rather helpful lady at the service center and not at the national center. Depending on the time of the day, caller queue your call can be transferred to the national center, and based on my experience these guys know & do very little.
Cheers

Misi, unfortunately also you'll see many cases for which a soft LUD did not trigger an approval.

I'll give you some more insights on my case as it MAY help U & others.
When I called on March 6th, I emphasized that my spouse applied on Feb 28th for an EAD renewal (supposedly IO will prioritise I485 over EAD approval, if everything else is clear with your case)

I Was told:
1) Our cases (incl spouse) were with examiner/IO and no decision was made
2) The 3 applications (EAD+2 I485) were with same examiner
3) A note was included in my profile asking for my case to be approved before April 30th

Again break a leg

I do not want to give you false hope, but the samething happened to me. I talked to a friendly IO on March 6th, then got soft LUD on March 6th & 7th, followed by approval on March 1oth. This is not to say the same will happen to you, USCIS works in mysterious way & your case may be different than mine (seeing your RD is suspect your were stuck in NC), but he sure point in the right direction.
Best of luck, cuz that's really what it is about at this stage
