Topic: Opened sealed envelope

I don't know about the sealed envelop you received from consulate but I don't think immigration officer will touch a sealed envelop at the POE.
Don't worry about it, as long as you have a valid visa and approved/valid 797 then you are good to go..

Topic: H1B RFE (Share your RFE)

If your case is filed under PP, they should officially give the response with in 15days after they receive the RFE response. Otherwise you can contact the adjudication officer through Cust.Service or send an email to service center. You can find the email id on the website or on the RFE copy. You no need to wait for 60days. This is an advantage for PP cases. But if they cannot make a decision on your case with 15days you can get your 1000USD back ,which you paid for PP.

Mine was approved exactly on 10th day. But i had bunch of soft LUD's before they approve my case.
They asked my copy of approved 140 in my RFE.

They faxed my RFE and also received the hardcopy by mail after 5days. Then we faxed the RFE reply and also we sent it through Fedex but they changed the online status after they received the Fedex mail. Later i had bunch of soft LUD's after that one wk no action on my case and then approved my case.

Welcome to the new world of USCIS.GOV..check it after couple of days. You should be able to view your case details if not ask your employer to send the photocopy of your receipt to verify the number

You can go back to india and get it stamped. But if some thing goes wrong you are not able to reenter back into US.
